A First-Gen student is the first in their family to attend college or pursue higher education. If that’s you, it’s time to celebrate your bold choice!   You don’t have to be First-Gen to celebrate First-Generation College Student Day.  Your support of a fellow Laker is just as important.  So, join us in celebrating First-Generation College Student Week!

First-Gen Week kicks off Monday, Nov 4 – Friday, Nov 8 with events just for you!

 Wednesday, Nov 6 | 3-5 PM: Boba Study Break – Unwind with boba, de-stress, and celebrate First-Gen students, faculty, staff!

 Thursday, Nov 7 | 2-4 PM: Hot Cocoa Care Packages – Warm up with some hot cocoa, just for you!

 Friday, Nov 8 | 11 AM – 1 PM: First Gen Lunch-In – Join students and staff for an open discussion over lunch. Click Here and fill out our form or respond to the email. – We would love to have both Students and Faculty/Staff!
