The Academic Success Center (ASC) provides free academic support to all registered Lake State students, from their first year through graduation. Students may stop by for drop-in math tutoring for MATH 088–MATH 151 and MATH 207- no appointment needed! Learn More
Supplemental Instruction (SI) sessions offer additional support to students in some of LSSU’s historically challenging courses and are led by students who have completed the course with an A grade. SI sessions will review lecture material, help you find answers to questions, and help prepare you for upcoming assignments and exams. Learn More
LSSU uses an online math testing and preparatory program to appropriately place students in math courses. Most students will take the ALEKS PPL (Placement, Preparation, and Learning) for the first time while they are on-campus for orientation. Learn More
