Lake Superior State University is more than just an institution; it is home to a community of students, faculty, and staff. It’s our job to make you, our guest on campus, feel as at home as we do! When you tour our campus, you will have the opportunity to meet with one of our admissions representatives and students who will answer questions about what it means to be a Laker and attend LSSU. Whether you are a transfer student or still in high school, a guidance counselor, or a parent, you are always welcome.
Planning a visit to Lake Superior State University includes a tour of the campus, residence halls, student life, and athletic facilities. Our admissions staff will provide a presentation or informal discussion on program areas, campus life, tuition, and scholarships. The campus visit includes a walking tour—led by current Lake Superior State University students—that lasts approximately 60 minutes. In addition to the standard tour, guests may request to visit with faculty members or representatives from specific offices (e.g., financial aid, housing, athletics, club sports).
We at Lake Superior State University are looking forward to having you on campus. We are currently hosting daily tours Monday – Friday at 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM, and 1:30 PM. Tours are limited to 12-15 people. If you need special accommodations, contact the Campus Visit Coordinator by phone at (906)-635-2032, text at (906)-934-8131, or campustours@lssu.edu.
