Summer Housing at LSSU

Discover an affordable and convenient housing option during the summer months at Lake Superior State University. With on-campus living, you can enjoy the amenities of campus life without being tied down to an off-campus lease.

What’s more, paying for your housing is easy and hassle-free, as you can use your student account to make a one-time payment or choose to pay on an installment plan. Your housing fees also cover all utilities, internet, cable, and laundry services (for a one-time summer environmental fee).

LSSU Summer Housing Will Be Offered For The Period Starting From Sunday, May 12th And Ending On Saturday, August 4th.

LSSU Student Summer Housing Rates

Registered Students

  • Regular Room: $110 per week
  • Private Room: $160 per week

Non-Registered Students

  • Regular Room: $125 per week
  • Private Room: $175 per week

LSSU Non-Student Summer Housing Rates

Interns

  • Shared Room: $101 per week (must have a roommate coming with you)
  • Private Room: $195 per week

Public Rate

  • $85 per night and decreases to $65 per night if staying more than 5 nights.

All rates are listed per person for current LSSU students. Non-LSSU student rates do exist, contact our office for more information. Limited private rooms are available at an additional cost. A onetime $00 environmental fee will be charged to renters for use of the laundry facilities.

The total rent charge and environmental fee will be billed to the student’s account on Monday, May 1. Total rent payment for summer is required by Friday, May 10. If not paid in full by the due date, the student will be required to sign up for a payment plan online.

To request special accommodations, in addition to filling out the housing application, it is required that you register with the LSSU Office of Accessibility Services. The coordinator of the Accessibility Services will verify your disability and advise housing staff of appropriate accommodation. Housing staff will facilitate the housing accommodation based on application date and availability. Questions about accessible student housing may be directed to Joshua L.
