ORIGINAL HIDDEN FIGURES – Lake Superior State University Theatre presents, Silent Sky, Feb 20-24 on the Arts Center main stage. The play is based on the real-life astronomical career of Henrietta Leavitt, one of several women employed as “human computers” by the Harvard College Observatory in the early 20th Century, and follows her journey of scientific, interpersonal, personal, and universal discoveries. Performances are nightly at 7 p.m., Feb. 20-23, with a 2 p.m. afternoon matinee offered on Sat., Feb. 24.
