Undergraduate Opportunities

CFRE offers several undergraduate opportunities for LSSU students to get involved! Whether a part- or full-time paid position, or volunteer work, students who associate with CFRE gain extra hands-on experience that is invaluable.

Students practice freshwater stewardship, and extend the invite to the community to join in events, such as creek cleanups.

Undergraduate Education

CFRE Fish Hatchery
Formerly the Aquatic Research Laboratory (ARL), the CFRE Fish Hatchery is our one-of-a-kind, student-ran Atlantic Salmon fish hatchery.

Freshwater Stewardship Corps (FSC)
FSC focuses on community awareness and outreach focusing on Great Lakes health and freshwater science.
